Tilt House is a 1,000 sq ft backyard suite shaped by solar orientation, privacy, and the quality of natural light. The roof rises toward the north and tilts southward, creating a generous interior volume while optimizing solar panel exposure.

MRB HQ reimagines an existing CMU commercial structure as a flexible workplace and social hub, woven into Halifax’s existing urban fabric. The design embraces the building’s industrial bones, layering architectural interventions, crafted materials, and spaces for work, gathering, and community.
